Only 35 million visas in 8 years.

The ministry also issued 3,49,73, 877 visas to foreign nationals in these eight years. While, we issued just 35 million visas in 8 years, 40.9 million people visited Britain in 2019 alone. Britain will earn 257 billion pounds from tourism by 2025. Multinationals are telling employees not to take laptops or answer work-related calls while vacationing in India because of fear of a huge tax bill. ET. Wouldn't they rather go elsewhere? These will be high spending people. Their spending could create millions of jobs. Who would then pay tax.
