Criminal politicians in India are scrambling to cover up their numerous crimes and preserve their stolen loot. After stalling the Supreme Court for months the government has suddenly decided to form a committee of 10 people to probe black money stashed in foreign countries. This is not driven by a desire to catch the culprits or recover stolen wealth but to preempt the Supreme Court from ordering a Special Investigation Team or SIT. The idea, no doubt is to sooth the court and stall its investigation. Unfortunately for the criminals Assange has said that WikiLeaks has a list of all those who have secret bank accounts in Switzerland and will be releasing them soon. Already one fellow has derided WikiLeaks saying that its exposes are unproven. It is the sacred duty of the government to prove the charges. Unless, of course, the criminals are running the government. Meanwhile the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee, PAC has concluded its investigation into the 2G larceny and has accused the Prime Minister's office of masterly inactivity while Raja was awarding telecom spectrum for paltry sums of money in return for bribes in spite of opposition from the Law Ministry. The Prime Minister has acknowledged his own complicity by calling it " compulsions of coalition politics." Now the Congress and DMK members are disrupting the meetings of the PAC trying to stop it from publishing its report. No shame, no dignity, no self respect, no pride and absolutely no honor. These creatures in human form are an affront, not only to Indians, but to entire humanity. The entire world should shun them.

Do they know some form of black magic or witchcraft? How can Pakistan allow terrorists to launch attacks from its soil, openly declare its intention of using nuclear weapons, refuse to take out the Taliban and yet be able to get billions in financial aid. Paki Prime Minister, Gilani visited Kabul along with army chief, Kayani and chief of ISI, Pasha where he asked Afghan President, Hamid Karzai to distance his country from the US and befriend China instead. This when Pakistan is begging for money from the US and the IMF just to survive. There is no doubt that 9/11 was planned and financed from Pakistan but the US is supplying it with drones, fighter jets, night vision goggles, precision guiding equipment and much more. Why? Why destroy Iraq, bomb Libya, institute sanctions against Iran while supplying money and arms to the country responsible for killing so many of your citizens? As for India, our most revered Prime Minister invites his Paki counterpart to a cricket match, starts direct train link with Pakistan, asks for peace talks on " bended knees," wants to increase trade and allows Pakis to work in our film industry just one year after the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai. Why? It is natural that a rogue state like China would be ally to a failed state like Pakistan. Cockroaches like to feed on putrid filth. China is also friend of Burma, North Korea and gave refuge to Pol Pot. But we do not need Pakistan. There is no need to waste time on this country of rabid fanatics. No need to fight, just ignore them. Cut off all diplomatic, trade and people contacts with that filthy country, lay land mines on the border and then get on with life. We cannot destroy it, just forget it exists.

It is the old story of the boy who cried wolf. Bush and Blair deliberately lied about WMDs in Iraq to have an excuse for attacking Saddam. It was pure personal vengeance that motivated Bush and Blair tried to legitimise the illegal war with the support of the UK government. The result was sectarian division leading to permanent destabilisation of Iraq, death of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians and a dangerously powerful Iran. Recently UK, France and the US obtained a divided UN Security Council resolution backing a " no-fly zone " over Libya to " protect civilians." Many countries supported the motion following the Arab League which believed, naively as it turns out, that only Gaddafi's air force would be taken out and there would not be any attempt at regime change. The liars had other ideas. They have used the vague language about protection of civilians to help armed rebels, bomb government soldiers and even bomb Gaddafi's residence. Propaganda channels like the BBC and CNN continue to show children alleged to have been injured by Gaddafi's soldiers. It could even be that a lot of the injuries are because of rebel shelling or allied bombing. The reporting is totally one sided and biased. Now the US wants sanctions against Syria for the killing of civilians protesting against the regime but other countries are not listening any more. The tragedy is that Syria will kill many more than Gaddafi would have. Syria has learnt from its friend, Iran how to suppress any dissent with devastating force but most countries will be suspicious of any US moves to impose any form of punitive action against Syria. Lies lead to impotence.

Three items of news in the front page of newspapers yesterday. The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI arrested Suresh Kalmadi, the former chief of the Olympic Committee, for conspiracy in awarding a contract to a Swiss firm costing Rs 1.4 billion for the Commonwealth Games when it could have been done much cheaper. He is accused of personal gain from such contracts. Kanimozhi, daughter of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, has been charged with conspiracy and money laundering as director of Kalaignar TV. Strangely her mother who owns 60% of the company has not been charged because she speaks only Tamil. The CBI could not find one person in the whole of India who speaks both Tamil and English or Hindi. The 3rd news item is the even stranger case of murder of Aarushi. This 14 year old girl was found dead with her throat slit in her own bed. The local police blamed a male servant but he was later found dead on a terrace. The house was locked with only the parents inside. The local police messed up the evidence whether through incompetence or deliberately is not known. The father was accused of murder. The CBI was called in but came to no conclusion. They applied to the trial judge to close the case but the judge refused. Now the CBI claims to have proof of the father's guilt. Will Kalmadi and Kanimozhi be punished. Very unlikely. The CBI is controlled by politicians and has never managed a conviction. Even if convicted judges will allow the case to drag on for years and then they will be pardoned. Sukhram is still free after 30 years. The Congress has been at the root of all corruption in India. They are absolute masters.

According to Nomura Holdings private equity funds may sell up to $5 billion of their investments in equity in India in the next two years. Seems that property developers need to find some $33 billion to repay or refinance their debt and $5 billion to pay back private equity investors. This could force developers to a " fire sale " of assets leading to a steep fall in property prices. This is profoundly to be desired. Property prices need to fall by 70% to wipe out black money from the economy and bring down inflation. Fall in rents and inflation will help the people. The Reserve Bank must play its part by maintaining a high interest rate so that property prices never increase by more than the headline rate of inflation. Paying 10% on a property of Rs 8 million will be less than paying 5% on Rs 20 million so house buyers will not be inconvenienced. Business people will be the only ones who will howl about high borrowing costs and how this will hamper growth. We must not be taken in by these old lies. Low inflation will bring down wage pressures. Businesses can borrow overseas at very cheap rates. Interest rate in the US is still close to zero. Borrowers can hedge against dollar appreciation by investing a part of their borrowings in the US with SEC permission. So if one borrows $1 billion one can invest, say, $200 million in debt funds in the US. This will protect against rise in the dollar, reassure investors, increase safety and lower interest rate. Business men like to borrow in India because they often use the money for buying cars, houses and foreign trips. No one ever goes to jail. That will not happen in the US. The inflation boil needs to be lanced.

As per service rules IAS officers in UP were asked to file Immovable Property Returns or IPRs but till 5pm on April 20 only very few of over 500 officers had done so ( Times of India, April 22 ). Civil servants in India are known to be totally corrupt and it is impossible for anyone to maintain honesty. The reason is that there is a chain starting from the lowest clerk going up to the highest level. Bribes are collected at the point of contact with the public and then shared up the chain. If one officer refuses to accept bribe money it affects everyone by breaking the chain. Such an officer is asked to join the crooks, then transferred repeatedly to harass him and may, finally, be murdered. Since the only safe place to hide black money is in property IPRs give an idea on how much money is being stolen from the public. By not submitting IPRs these officers will not get vigilance clearance and will be ineligible for promotion. But who cares for an increase in salary of a few thousand rupees when one has to hide billions in black money. That the vast majority of officers in UP have chosen not to file their returns shows that all, except a handful, are crooks. Civil servants obtain their cue from politicians governing the state. Bihar had the reputation of being the cesspit of India but UP has now taken over the coveted spot. A consultancy group based in Hong Kong called The Political and Economic Risk Consultancy ltd has rated India as the 4th most corrupt nation in the Asia Pacific region but such is the lack of shame that the scum just carry on, each one pointing at the other and pretending to be honest. If the leader is lacking in honor the troops will follow.

Satya Sai Baba passed away this morning. Such was the passion of his numerous followers that the government of Andhra has rushed in large numbers of police to Puttaparthi. His followers believed him to possess divine powers while his critics accused him of being a charlatan whose so called miracles were mere magic tricks. However, discussions about one man's divinity is a futile waste of time because opinions on both sides are so entrenched that any rational debate is impossible. What is inexplicable is the human tendency of worshiping other humans rather than God directly. Hindus do not believe in prophets but have innumerable " holy " men and women held as divine by followers and derided by pseuds as " God men." These " holy " people did nothing for the country or Hindus in general, living extremely comfortable, even luxurious, lives on the money paid by devotees to listen to long lectures on how to achieve moksha but not one fought against waves of attacks on Hindus by fanatics of other religions. If they had such divine powers to perform miracles why did they not get rid of Muslim and Christian conquerers who killed Hindus in their thousands and continue to do so today. Thankfully all these people attempted to explain our scriptures to us and did not write down an entirely new book by claiming to have talked to God as the prophets of other religions have done. Once you believe a " holy book " to have been dictated by God then you have to defend the fellow, who took the dictation, against accusation of lying. So you declare him a prophet and kill others to prove his divinity. Poor God. He creates, prophets kill.

Five executives of large companies have been remanded in custody in the 2G scam. One, Mr Sanjay Chandra is chairman of Unitech Wireless which holds 32.7% in Uninor, a telecom services provider in India. The other 67.3% is held by Telenor of Norway. In spite of his bail plea being refused by the judge Mr Chandra has not resigned his post as chairman of Unitech. Now the Norwegians have formally asked Mr Chandra to step down which he still has not done. There are two reasons for this. First, Unitech was founded by Mr Chandra's father and he has grown up knowing that this is his entitlement. Second, the concept of honor does exist in India. It is customary to continue to plead innocence in spite of cast iron proof of guilt. Contrast this with what happened to Mr Rajat Gupta who has been accused of providing insider information to Rajaratnam who ran the Galleon hedge fund in the US. Although none of the accusations have been proven Mr Gupta has resigned all his positions as he fights to clear his name. It is common knowledge that business people have to bribe criminal politicians and thieving, parasitic civil servants large sums of money to obtain licenses or large government contracts. They cut the quality of the goods and services they provide to maintain profits. In return for the money they have paid out they expect complete protection from any investigation or punishment. Politicians regularly hector business leaders to help the poor. It is not the function of business to provide social services. Instead they should concentrate on providing the best products at the cheapest prices. Sadly honor and class cannot be bought.

The UP government debt has risen from Rs 830 billion in 2001-2 to Rs 1.88 trillion in the last fiscal and will reach Rs 2.04 trillion in the current year. UP has to pay Rs 333 billion which comprises interest payment of Rs 150 billion and repayment of capital of Rs 183 billion. Total borrowings by the UP government stands at Rs 339 billion which means that UP is taking on new debt to pay off the old one. This means that the state will have no money for infrastructure or development or will have to raise taxes even further. However, UP spent Rs 20 billion to erect a large number of ugly statues to present and past politicians. Tamil Nadu has debt of Rs 890 billion which will rise to over one trillion if even some of the promised bribes are distributed to voters. People have been promised color TVs, mixers, goats and cows among other bribes to vote for different gangs. It matters not a jot who wins the elections because people will have voted for the goodies and not the politicians. It would be best if the next state assembly consists of TVs, mixers, goats and cows and all the criminal politicians are dumped to where they belong. At least goats and cows will not steal, fight or murder. Sadly economists in India do not give us a total of all the debt incurred by the central and state governments and total interest payments compared to total income. It is possible that they are scared of writing the truth. At least a dozen activists using the Right to Information Act to expose corruption have been killed. Indian politicians are no different to the Ndrangheta in Italy or drug gangs in Mexico. By controlling the police they are much more successful.

Seems that the US just cannot stop meddling in the affairs of other countries without knowing what the outcome is likely to be. According to WikiLeaks the US has given $ 6 Million a satellite TV channel based in London whose broadcasts were against the Syrian establishment. Called Barada TV, its chief editor is Malik al-Abdeh who co-founded a Syrian exile group called Movement for Justice and Development. Majority of the Syrian people are Sunni ruled by minority Alawis who are related to Shias, the exact opposite of Bahrain where minority Sunnis rule a Shia population. Protests against Bashar al Assad's government in Syria is gathering momentum but no one knows who or what is going to replace him if he is deposed. The US financed the Orange revolution in Ukraine, thinking it would result in a pro western government but it fizzled out and pro RussianViktor Yanukovich is back in power as President. The US drove Saddam out and dismantled the Ba'ath party and the army resulting in a power vacuum which was filled by Al Qaida and other terrorists resulting in the death of hundreds of thousands. Everyone knows of supplying arms to the Taliban to fight the Russians, a stupidity the US is still paying for. NATO is attacking Libya trying to get rid of Gaddafi without having any idea as to who will replace him. Libyan bombing could end in a civil war or a rebel government led by Al Qaida. No one knows what personal reasons made tiny Qatar join in the bombing of Libya. Iran is making its own calculations. The middle east is muddle of personal and tribal loyalties and enmities. To stir the pot is an act of incredible stupidity.

Our most revered Prime Minister seems to be the only person in the whole world who does not know that the Paki Prime Minister, Gilani is a clown with no power at all. Power is in the hands of Kayani, the army chief and Pasha, chief of the ISI and these men are avowed enemies of India. Their power, huge defense budget and control of the country comes from support of terrorism against India and they will never agree to a comprehensive peace deal which takes away the reason for their very existence. Inviting Gilani to semifinal of the cricket World Cup at Mohali has done nothing to " normalising relations " but has certainly made India look weak, begging for peace on " bended knees." Pakistan is in the west. In the south, Sri Lanka keeps killing Indian fishermen, is allowing China to build a naval base to surround India with a " string of pearls " and is thinking of withdrawing its players from the IPL. In the east, Bangladesh is easier since Begum Sheikh Hasina has become Prime Minister but is unreliable. Further to the east is Burma, a rogue state ruled by a coterie of thugs with China's support. In the north, Nepal is controlled by Maoists who are supporting China against India on whom they depend for their food and fuel. Maoists are supplying arms to Naxals in India and are threatening to cancel hydro power projects with Indian companies. Behind all this is the evil hand of China, further to the north. A country of uncivilised barbarians it wants to earn respect by conquering surrounding countries and, ultimately, ruling the world. Indians are not weak but are being weakened by illegitimate politicians taking orders from the west. Great is the danger.

Increasing literacy among women in UP and Haryana has resulted in a worse Child Sex Ratio or CSR which is the number of girls compared to boys ( Times of India, April 12 ). In Guatam Budh Nagar female literacy rate is 72.78% while CSR is 852 the same as Kanpur Nagar with literacy rate of 73.88%. In Jhajjar female literacy rate increased from 59% in 2001 to 71% in 2011 while CSR dropped from 801 to 774. The average for literate women in Haryana is an abysmal 692 while in Mewat which is the most backward part of the state with female literacy of only 37.6% the CSR is 903, the highest in the state. In UP literacy has increased from 64.83% in 2001 to 74.04 in 2011 while the CSR has fallen from 916 to 899. Clearly increasing literacy is giving women the information about how best to get rid of female fetuses as well as increased income to be able to afford it. For decades we have been told that educating the girl child reduces family size, increases literacy in children, decreases child mortality and increases child nutrition and vaccine uptake. Now we see that female literacy increases abortion of female fetuses. This is not surprising. We know that the US population is 53% female yet they never elect a female president. Surveys consistently show that women find female bosses more difficult than men with less chances of promotion. The truth is women do not like women. " It seems that knowledge has played evil by strengthening the patriarchal mindset," said one Dr Neelam Singh. That is a typical female reaction to such news - blame men. The truth, especially in north India, is that it is women who drive the killing of girls. Truth needs guts.

Crown prince and heir apparent Mr Rahul Gandhi is concerned about corruption in India. He says, " Like most right thinking Indian people I feel exactly the way you do. I spend a lot of my waking hours thinking and working to improve what I see as a rotten system. The difference is that I cannot get away simply with writing letters and complaining as you can." How scornful that is. Fact is Mr Gandhi, you really can change the system if you want. Fact, Congress has been in power for most of 63 years since independence. Fact, Congress is the most criminal organisation in the world today. Fact, Congress consists of invertebrate worms who will lick your shoes clean if you so desire. If you think that the system is rotten stand up and say so. Support the Lok Pal bill. Demand that police and CBI should be made free from political interference, strict term limits for politicians, no sinecure for retired civil servants, limits to adjournments in court cases, low taxes, respect for ordinary citizens, fight for us. It is not enough to occasionally get into an ordinary train carriage or eat in a poor person's house. These are merely poll gimmicks. To make a difference get out of your Rs 3 billion house paid for by the taxpayer and talk to us. In your address to the National Union of Students of India ( Times of India, February 12 ) on leadership you say, " Eventually it is not the individual but the organisation which will pay you rich dividends." Loyalty to the party but you do not talk about loyalty to the country which should be above everything. You have the means, the power and position to really make a difference. Question is, do you have the will to be a man?

It is not just the Indian politicians who lie to the people. Obama, Cameron and Sarkozy have issued a joint statement saying that bombing and killing of Libyans will go on until Gadhafi is forced out but have also said that this is not regime change. Weasel words. Cameron is trying to prove tough on Gadhafi because Al Magrahi, the alleged Lockerbie bomber, was released to get oil concessions from Libya. Sarkozy knows he is going to lose the next elections in 2 years time and wants to show his high mileage wife how like Nepoleon he is. Obama is facing elections next year and wants to show how macho he is, having cravenly surrendered to the Republicans, without getting involved on the ground. Three moral midgets with great ambition and willing to lie without shame. Meanwhile this non event called the ' Royal Wedding ' is getting more nauseating by the day. One can understand the propaganda channel, BBC going on about it but it is hard to fathom why CNN is also advertising it. Marriage used to be about 2 young people vowing to be true to each other and was a social approval for sexual relations leading to children. However, William and Kate have been living together for sometime now so their marriage is of no significance at all. At best it is an excuse for a party, at worst it is a chance for a fat alimony in the future. A dysfunctional family headed by a very old woman who refuses to vacate her gaddi even for her son. Then there is the mysterious death of Princess Diana. Had she been alive she would have attended as Mrs Al Fayad with half Egyptian step brothers. Racist as the British are it is hard to imagine, what?

It is easy to win a general election by bribery but how do you balance your books? The Congress won the last elections by forgiving loans to farmers, the MNREGA scheme which pays unemployed villagers for 100 days of useless work every year and paying thieving, parasitic civil servants 80% increase in salaries without any increase in efficiency or productivity. In the first 9 months of 2010-11 Non Performing assets or bad loans of public sector banks reached Rs 686 billion of which agricultural loans accounted for 70%. Why would farmers repay loans when they know that they will be forgiven again come the next elections? The result is that inflation was 8.98% in March. With oil prices destined to remain at over $ 100 fuel prices will be increased after the state elections going on at the moment. That will instantly add to inflation hitting the buying power of the people. Growth in industrial production, including capital goods, is already falling. Eighteen capital goods items declined by 18.6% in February including computer systems, machine tools and industrial machinery among others. The Reserve Bank has been raising interest rates by a measly 25 basis points every few months probably because the Bank is terrified of a crash in property prices which have risen by at least 500% in the last 10 years. Property prices are important because that is where criminal politicians have hidden their black money and also high prices mean that states earn huge amounts from stamp duty. It would be much better to have lower growth with low inflation but the government is desperate for tax revenues. So much for the world famous economist.

One TH Rana is being tried in US courts for planning terrorist attacks in Denmark. He is said to have been involved in the Mumbai attacks in 2008. He claims he was working for the ISI and the Pakistani government and so deserves diplomatic immunity. Reacting to that External Affairs Minister, SM Krishna said yesterday, " We are in constant touch with the Pakistan government through our diplomatic channels." He went on to say," These are two different aspects. Peace talks will go on, cricket matches will go on and simultaneously our relentless efforts will continue to bring to justice all those responsible for the heinous crime against India in Mumbai." This is a deliberate insult to all Indians, the families of all those who died and, especially, for the dead. Does he think we are idiots? We give the Pakis everything they want and then expect them to catch the bastards who arranged the attacks. We ask them for peace talks on " bended knees," we allow Paki actors to make money from Indian movies, we even arrange a direct train to facilitate entry of terrorists and then ask them ever so politely to be good chaps and catch the baddies, they must be breathless with laughter. Clearly the criminal politicians and thieving, parasitic civil servants are selling out the nation on orders from the US and the west. We will probably never know what these traitors are getting in return but this has clear benefits at home. Terrorist attacks are used to justify Z plus security, to spend Rs 9.5 billion to buy luxury aircraft and as an excuse to snoop on law abiding citizens. The government is a much greater threat for the country than our enemies.

The freeloading press has reacted with hostility at Anna Hazare's moral victory regarding the Lok Pal bill. One Suhel Seth ( Hindustan Times, April 12 ) is furious. He reluctantly grants that there is " genuine anger against the establishment " but finds it unfair to blame the government. He refuses to be part of a nation of protesters. He accuses Hazare of having " lit a ticking time bomb " and of trying to " subvert " freedom of speech. He says that Hazare's supporters are like those of Bush, either you are for him or you are not a patriot. Seeing that Bush stole an election and was responsible for genocide in Iraq that is a particularly odious and underhand abuse. To answer Mr Seth, lobbying is an accepted means in a democracy. Since our criminal politicians go around with Z plus security they are inaccessible and a public fast was the only way to get the scoundrels to listen. Is India a democracy at all? Democracy does not mean putting an X against one villain rather than another every 5 years. When a senior minister claims that the crime of bribing MPs to vote for the nuclear bill is condoned because the responsible fellows have won a general election since then the entire election process becomes a subversion of the constitution. When one political gang bribes voters with a mixie and a goat while another offers a cow with the mixie the voter may be induced to choose the cow over the goat. The voter is not voting for the gang but the cow. Not a ringing endorsement for 5 years' opportunity to loot the exchequer. The servile press may be happy serving their masters but they should remember that if Hazare fails the Naxals may gain. That is scary.

Are dictators a special breed? Is it something genetic that gives a man ( Indira Gandhi and Margaret Thatcher came close but were just short of 100% ) that combination of intelligence, guile, cunning and ruthlessness to subdue an entire population completely to his will or is it something that develops slowly as the glamor of power and the flattery of yes-men poisons the brain over time? After the loss of hundreds of lives and nearly causing a civil war Laurent Gbagbo was finally arrested and was, apparently, slapped by a soldier. Previous president of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, was so disturbed by being questioned by investigators about his wealth that he suffered a heart attack. Ben Ali ended up in hospital in Saudi Arabia after fleeing Tunisia. Ceausescu apparently looked surprised when the first bullets hit his body. In a recent television interview Gadhafi claimed that the people of Libya loved him. All dictators seem genuinely unable to understand how hated they are and that they are not indispensable as they thought. Politicians in India also seem unable to comprehend how hated and despised they are, still believing in the myth of being public servants. Villains in India routinely suffer " chest pains " when caught for crimes. Lalu Prasad quickly ended up in AIIMS and Ramalinga Raju of Satyam fame has been relaxing in a private hospital with all the luxury that his looted wealth can buy. However the children of politicians are the most dangerous. Born with unlimited looted wealth, the ability to commit any crime in total safety and the feeling of entitlement makes them absolute scoundrels. If only they could be gently eliminated.

An article headlined " A life lost to litigation " in the Hindustan Times yesterday outlines how government officials use our money to persecute and harass us. One Ashok Kumar Aggarwal was suspended by the Central Bank of India in 1978 for stealing Rs 159000 from six inoperative bank accounts. He was just 29 years old at the time. The bank lodged a criminal case against him which was dismissed by a court in Jalandhar, Punjab 1983. In 1991 the Punjab and Haryana High Court dismissed an appeal filed by the bank. The bank officials were not done. Despite his acquittal by the High Court the bank instituted departmental proceedings against Mr Aggarwal for " gross misconduct." In 2007 the High Court again found for Mr Aggarwal and quashed the " departmental proceedings " against him. Still the bank would not give up. In February 2008 it moved the Supreme Court against the order of the High Court because of the " very serious nature " of Mr Aggarwal's crimes. While the case is being heard before the Supreme Court the bank terminated Mr Aggarwal's employment one day before he was scheduled to retire. In spite of its complaints being repeatedly rejected by the courts the bank did not reinstate Mr Aggarwal. He was paid Rs 500-600 per month between 1979 and 1987 and fro 1987 to March 2009 he was paid Rs 1380 a month. If the Supreme Court finds for the bank then crime will have been punished. If, however, the Court again rejects the Bank's case it must make an example of the officials of the bank. Make the CEO and MD pay all the arrears with interest and costs. That will teach sarkari bastards to use our money to screw us.

The entire country is celebrating Anna Hazare's victory over the government in the formation of a committee to draft a Lok Pal bill. This is nothing. The government has merely conceded the committee but will fight tooth and nail to hold on to their illicit gains. The Lok Pal aims to punish the corrupt which will entail investigation, arrest of the culprit and trial, causing huge expense. It would be much better to prevent crime. A few suggestions: 1. No VIP or VVIPs. Strictly term limits for politicians and no extension or post retirement sinecure for civil servants. 2. A salary of, say, Rs 200000 per month for politicians but absolutely no perks. 3. Only the prime minister and foreign minister to travel abroad at our expense, the rest to pay unless they can convince a citizens' committee that it is absolutely necessary. State level politicians or municipal officials banned from junkets. 3. A bill that guarantees the lowest possible taxes in the world with the best possible services. 4. No ' through proper channel.' All applications from the public will be handled by named officials with the power to approve. Approval must be within strict time frame and reasons for denial to be explained in writing. Any wrong approval or delay to be fined by loss of salary and three offences to result in loss of service and pension. 5. Election campaigns to be restricted to tv and newspapers paid for by the government. Campaigning will consist of explanation of policies and promises of bribes to be banned. 5. Civil servants resorting to unnecessary court cases to harass people will pay the entire expense. If the scoundrels fail to listen they will face violence.

Not just the white man, seems that economists also speak with forked tongue. All this time time when the rest of India blamed the Hindi belt for uncontrolled population growth we were told that this was a ' demographic dividend ' which was a good thing. While population was aging in other countries including China, India had an unlimited supply of young people to augment the work force. More young meant more people to pay taxes which, in turn, meant more money to care for the elderly. While the elderly spend mostly on health care young people spend on consumer goods, new housing and travel. This, it was argued, stimulates manufacturing, the housing sector and tourism industry. All in all, a very good thing. A recent census shows that numbers between o-6 years of age declined by 4.1% in UP, 2.3% in Bihar, 3.5% in Rajasthan and 3.4% in MP. In today's Sunday Times, economist Mr Aiyar calls this a ' demographic dividend ' standing the entire argument on its head. He says that less children allows parents to work thus augmenting the work force. This raises income and savings to fuel more investments. He quotes an IMF working paper by his son Shekhar Aiyar and Ashoka Mody which suggests that up to 40% of the GDP growth since 1980 has been due to falling population growth. Spending on private education has also risen. Just because the article was written by his son does not make it wrong. This is precisely what I have been writing for months. Unfortunately criminal politicians reward more children by doling out taxpayer money because it is easy to collect votes from legions of naked aam aadmi. This keeps them khas.

British and French lies have been nailed by NATO. A NATO fighter bombed rebel fighters near the oil town of Brega killing some and injuring many. Why did the pilot mistake rebel fighters as Gadhafi's forces? Because these fighters were in tanks dug in near the front line. This was never about protecting civilians but about supporting armed eastern tribes against Gadhafi's western tribes probably to control Libya's oil which is in the east. The Security Council ( a criminal white man's club ) resolution mandates a ' no-fly zone ' which means preventing any bombing raids by Gadhafi's air force and ' protection of civilians ' which would sanction a cordon sanitaire around civilian populations but it certainly does not mandate indiscriminate killing of one group of armed Libyans in favor of another armed group. If the eastern tribes were to emerge victorious is there any guarantee that they will not kill large numbers of western tribes in revenge? If that were to happen Cameron and Sarkozy must act to prevent such killings or be tried as war criminals. Meanwhile Katie Price aka Jordan, a high mileage British babe, flew to Argentina to meet the friends and family of her latest boyfriend, Leandro Penna. Unfortunately Penna's friends thought that she was like an Argentinian Z lister called Silvia Suller, a 53 year ' showgirl ' who had a failed pop career, flopped on reality TV shows, appeared in soft porn shoots and has had a string of breast ops. One local said that locals have been comparing Jordan with Silvia and think that she is ' trashy and fake.' Price cut her trip short and hurriedly flew back to London. At least the Argies have better taste than the Brits.

The Security and Exchange Commission, US has fined PriceWaterhouse India $ 6 million for " deficient audits " that enabled " a massive accounting fraud to go undetected for several years " by Ramalinga Raju at Satyam Computer Services resulting in the firm's failure. Five PW affiliates have been banned from accepting any new clients in the US, their officers are to undergo training in best practices in accounting and have an independent monitor check on their work because " PW India failed to conduct even the most fundamental audit procedures." The fraud took place in India, so what have our authorities done to punish PW India? Nothing. In fact, PW India arrogantly denied any responsibility and and our spineless regulators agreed with their tails between their legs. So now that PW India has accepted SEC findings thereby accepting its guilt will the government punish the firm? Perish the thought. How can our criminal politicians or thieving, parasitic civil servants punish a firm based in London? After all they like to visit abroad with taxpayer money and their children are studying or working in the west. Best to bow to the white man and lick his boots. Meanwhile a row has broken out between politicians on who should investigate the 2G scam. While the Congress resisted a Joint Parliamentary Committee the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament has steamed ahead with its own investigation, making headlines by calling Ratan Tata, Anil Ambani and Niira Radia to testify. Now the JPC wants to take over but the PAC is unwilling to surrender the limelight. How about a kick boxing contest to decide the winner? The losers to clean toilets.

Social activist, 72 year old Anna Hazare is on indefinite fast at the Jantar Mantar in Delhi in protest against corruption. In particular he wants he wants ordinary citizens to be part of a committee formulating the Lok Pal bill to be introduced in the next session of the parliament. He demands that the Lokyukta in the states and the Lokpal at the center be completely independent, should have the power to investigate any politician or official, should incorporate investigating agencies which operate separately at the moment, will have the power to prosecute and will fine any official who refuses to cooperate. Also any case should finish within two years and all of the money gained through corruption is to be repaid. The government's bill will allow investigation only with the permission of leaders of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, does not give the Lokpal power to prosecute, does not empower it to prosecute officials and does not mandate the government to accept its findings. In short as stinking a pile of steaming dung as one can imagine. The politicians have tried their usual tricks ranging from threats to lies but public support has been growing for Mr Hazare. So Mr Kapil Sibal, a lawyer, was sent to negotiate or, most probably, to confuse the issue with a lot of legal mumbo jumbo but was quickly sent back. The politicians are the public face of corruption and crime, the real criminals are the civil servants. Senior civil servants have been around for years, know the intricacies of government and are completely unaccountable. They form an evil cloud over the country and must be eliminated if the nation is to survive.

Man called Joseph Lelyveld has written a book on Mahatma Gandhi called " Great Soul: Mahatma Gandhi and His Struggle with India." In it he has analysed all of Gandhi's correspondence and referred to letters written to a German-Jewish architect and body builder called Hermann Kallenbach. In his letters Gandhi refers to himself as " Upper house " and to Kallenbach as " Lower house " which is pretty abstruse. Gandhi wrote, " How completely you have taken possession of my body. This is slavery with a vengeance." which is pretty gross. Naturally a lot of heat has been generated by the book. The book has been banned in Gujarat by Chief Minister, Narendra Modi. Union Law Minister, Veerappa Moily thought about following suit but decided against it. Naturally, also, this has created a lot of hot air in the freeloading, pseudo secular, pseudo intellectual English press. One fellow rants about how undemocratic all this is. Another says that this was acceptable language in Gandhi's times which seems hard to believe seeing that men were pretty macho in those days and metrosexual man would never have made it beyond the starting gate. Naturally a feminist had to have her say. She contends that Indians should mature and accept homosexuality as normal. Time was when feminists used to burn bras which would have been fun to watch. Then they tried not shaving their armpits which was pretty gross and did not catch on. Now they are intent on turning every man into a poofter. The most amusing thing about all this is that not one person has read the book because it is still not available in India. Ignorance, it seems, is so very noisy.

Snippets that give a true picture of India. Shiney Ahuja, an actor, was accused of rape by his maid. At his trial the maid turned " hostile " which means she retracted her accusation saying another woman had coached her. The judge discounted her retraction and sentenced Ahuja to 7 years in jail for rape. Some years back Nanda was charged with killing 7 people with his BMW car. At his trial the chief witness turned hostile and Nanda was given just 2 years in jail. On April 2, Goa's Education Minister, Atanasio Monseratte was caught at Mumbai airport, after a tip off, with $ 10 million and Rs 2.5 million in cash. H had just arrived on an internal fight from Goa. Wonder if the fellow is from Congress because the freeloading press has gone completely silent on him. Raja of the DMK, a former telecom minister, is in jail for his part in the 2G scam while Sukhram of the Congress, also a former telecom minister, is still free after 25 years even though he was caught red handed with millions of rupees stuffed into mattresses and pillows. A total of 7 people have been arrested for licensing pilots with forged mark sheets while not one single person in Delhi government has even been charged for the massive loot and chaos at the Commonwealth Games which brought such shame to the whole country. Prime Minister of Thailand, Abhisit Vejjajiva is coming to India today. He was not elected and is a mass murderer having ordered the army to shoot unarmed Red Shirt protesters in Bangkok. No doubt a red carpet welcome will be laid out for him. Two unelected prime ministers, one a murderer, the other a protector of crooks, meeting in New Delhi, a criminal paradise.

A defence white paper issued by the Chinese government ( Hindustan Times, April 01, 2011 ) is worried about anti Chinese feeling across Asia. The paper says, " The United States is reinforcing its regional military alliances and increasing its involvement in regional security affairs. Suspicion about China, interference and countering moves against China from the outside is on the increase." The paper says that China wants to avoid military confrontation and focus on growing its economy. It is hard to believe that the Chinese government actually thinks anyone in Asia believes this pious rubbish when China keeps increasing its defence spending, is carrying out ethnic cleansing in Tibet, uses disgusting abuse against the Dalai Lama, stridently claims land belonging to other countries and treats its own citizens like garbage. China is feared by other countries in Asia which are no match for it militarily and you hate anyone you fear. Asian countries are thus looking towards the US to provide a counterbalance to China and for military assistance. " Asia-Pacific security is becoming more intricate and volatile. International military competition remains fierce," the paper says. The truth is that China is the main reason for this volatility. China is supplying nuclear technology to failed states such as North Korea and Pakistan, is helping to keep a vicious military regime in power in Burma and by denying a free press to its people is breeding a nation of delusional nationalists. The Chinese government is no different from Islamic fanatics in this respect. For an Indian the Chinese are uncivilised barbarians and anything bad for China is good for the world.

While our most revered Prime Minister was entertaining his Paki counterpart at the cricket semifinal at Mohali, a driver of the Pakistani High Commission was detained for questioning when found loitering in a restricted area inside Chandigarh cantonment area and trying to run away when caught. He was questioned for a few hours and then released. Within hours of his detention a ranking officer of the Indian High Commission was kidnapped while on his way home in Islamabad and was held for over 24 hours without informing Indian officials. This while the Paki filth was enjoying a lavish dinner at our expense. Only after foreign secretary, Nirupama Roy phoned her Paki counterpart was the official released. Meanwhile the Shunglu Committee report on the massive looting at the Commonwealth Games has been hidden from Indian citizens presumably until after elections are held in various states. Our most revered Prime Minister says that this is because " There are appropriate procedures. The report is under analysis by various ministries." Earlier we were told that the report is being translated into Hindi and will be tabled at the monsoon session of the Parliament which is many months away. There are some of us who understand English and since we, the taxpayers, paid for the inquiry we have first right to read what the report reveals. We are being fed drips of information about Mr Kalmadi whose budget was a paltry Rs 2.5 billion but the Delhi government had a budget of Rs 700 billion and its role is being kept secret. Is the Wide Receiver being protected at the behest of the Capo. Love these mysteries. How much more damage will this man do to us?

India is a police state. Politicians are criminals and civil servants are thieving parasites. The population has reached 1.2 billion with high youth unemployment. Inflation is at 10%. The Radia tapes revealed the unholy nexus between politicians, civil servants and industrialists. Between 1995 and 2009, in 15 years 250000 farmers have committed suicide that is 2 per day. One would think that India is ripe for a revolution of the kind sweeping the Arab world but no such luck. Instead people are totally focussed with the cricket World Cup. So are we more thick skinned than Arabs? Probably, but there are two other reasons. Firstly, India is not controlled by just one family. Instead we have adopted the Italian model where various families such as the Camorra, Ndrangheta and Sacra Corona Unita have carved up the country into territories. India too has been divided into parts controlled by various Families who are heads of gangs called Parties. The Family has been around since independence and has acted as an inspiration to others. The second reason is language or, in our case languages. Every country has just one official language spoken and understood by all. Arabic is spoken throughout the Arab world and though accents may differ from country to country it is understood by all. Whichever revolution we take - French, Russian, Iranian, Czech or even Chinese all had this one thing in common. This allowed information to spread fast and protest to be coordinated across the land. India, on the other hand, has over 25 languages and, apart from the English speaking middle class, is unable to understand each other. This protects our Qaddafis.

Preliminary report of this year's census says that the population has increased by 181 million over 2001 and now stands at 1.20 billion. To support the pseudo secular enemies of India our freeloading press will celebrate what is known as the " demographic dividend " which means that India will have a young population for industrial growth while other countries with low growth rates have an aging population demanding expensive end-of-life care. This is supposed to be good for us. But is it? Already 60% of our population is under the age of 30 years resembling all the Arab countries where people are revolting because of lack of jobs and the cost of food. Most of the young people are poorly educated and unemployable, yet desiring all the luxuries they see in commercials on tv. This has led to an increase in violent crime. The government is spending trillions of rupees doling out cheap food, subsidised fuel and cash through phoney employment schemes to support the poor but how long can we afford to throw money at the ever increasing numbers of the poor. Criminal politicians love the poor because they can buy votes at elections by shameless bribery which is happening at Tamil Nadu where various gangs are promising color tvs, mixies and even cows to voters at taxpayers' expense. Thieving, parasitic civil servants love the poor because they can loot from the schemes. Tamil Nadu already has debts of over Rs 890 billion. Our lying press does not tell us the total combined debt of all the states as well as the central government but it is likely to be in tens of trillions of rupees. How long before interest payments are more than government income?
