France had only one Marie Antoinette, we have many.

Poor Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister of UP does not understand. He was brought up to be chief minister by his father who was chief minister previously. He is entitled. Which means that he should live like a king, surrounded by lackeys to see to his comfort and the state to pay for every luxury, for ever. Now suddenly he is having to answer questions for 2 little girls who were raped and hanged from a mango tree in Badaun. A few days back his father, Mulayam Singh had explained everything to people when he said," First, girls and boys become friends. Then, when differences occur between them, the girls accuse boys of rape. Boys may make mistakes, but should they be hanged for it?" Only this time 2 dead girls were the accusers. Pure bad luck. That is why when constantly irritated about the case Mr Akhilesh told journalists," It's not as if you faced any danger." Which was meant to reassure but was blown up as an insensitive remark.  You can't win. After all, other politicians cannot claim any moral superiority flying in by helicopters for photo ops, making a circus out of a tragedy. Their hearts bleed for the Dalits or the downtrodden but they use children to clean the landing pad so that their shoes do not get dirty. But then again those shoes are the most expensive in the world because they must have cost millions to fetch from Mumbai by private jet plane, so keeping them clean saves much money for the taxpayer. People have no respect for all the sacrifices that politicians have to
make. They went and voted for the BJP in the parliamentary elections. So Mr Akhilesh wanted to teach
them a lesson by switching off electricity in all areas except for the 5 seats where people had the sense to
vote for the Yadav family members. Trouble is that Mr Mulayam, the father won from 2 seats and one
of them will have to be vacated. And who is more entitled than Mr Rahul Gandhi? That is why he was smiling broadly when he came out to face journalists after the election wipe out. After all, there will not be one iota
of change to his life of milk and honey. That is why Ms Priyanka Gandhi wrote a petulant letter when the
government decided to review the security allotted to her husband, Robert Vadra at taxpayer cost. Surely,  having earned hundreds of millions through his astute ' investments ' in properties he should pay for his own
security as a private citizen. We notice that Ms Gandhi did not offer to pay for all the years of security that her husband has already enjoyed with our money or offer to vacate the official palace given to her. It is not their fault. They really do not understand. France had only one Marie Antoinette, we have many.
