There is much debate in the US about the new anti immigration laws that will come into effect in Arizona today. The governor of Arizona has been called racist and Mexico has expressed unhappiness since most illegal immigrants are from Mexico. It is very difficult to understand this debate. Every person in the world has the right to decide who to invite into his home and ask the police to help evict an uninvited intruder. Hence every country should surely have the right to decide who they want as immigrants. Immigrants cause a lot of problems. Illegal Bangladeshis are changing the demography of parts of India giving rise to tension. Also Bangladeshis are easy recruits for Pakistan based terrorist groups and have been implicated in several incidents of bombing. Pakistanis in the UK have been similarly implicated. North Africans have rioted in Paris destroying property. Lebanese caused riots in Australia. Many Indians have died of suffocation when people smugglers packed them into containers without ventilation. Illegal immigration is a direct result of uncontrolled breeding in third world countries, especially of poor people who are unable to look after and educate their children. Rising numbers of poor people in Latin America not only results in illegal immigration into the US but also violent crime in the countries themselves. Thus drug gangs in Mexico have been killing thousands, including police and soldiers, across the country with the government looking on as helpless spectator. All the governments of the world must join hands in fighting the scourge of population growth and cut off immigration totally from any country which fails to comply. Else the planet is doomed.
