Who is responsible for the fossil fuel, sugar and meat industries?

In the last one year a Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg has become the face of climate change warriors, even being invited to speak at the UN General Assembly. Her call for a climate strike on 20 September drew response from all over the world. Thunberg is young, innocent and suffers from Asperger's syndrome so anyone daring to question her is attacked as if committing a crime.  "Thunberg is particularly endearing to women, many of whom consider the girl's critics 'middle aged men', which is somehow a descriptive insult today," wrote M Joseph. Are climate activists exploiting this girl's vulnerabilities for their own agenda? "This is a girl who needs special attention, yet her parents and her radical-left handlers appear to be carting her around the world and exposing her constantly to high-stress situations to serve their own purpose," wrote S Deb. "Their demands involve rejecting carbon capture and storage, carbon trading, geo-engineering, biofuels. and use of technology or market mechanisms to cut carbon emissions." They demand solutions based on "traditional knowledge, practices and wisdom of indigenous peoples". "This is not laughable fantasy. It has been tried out, in real life. By Pol Pot. He killed 25% of Cambodia's population in the process." US President Donald Trump is sceptical about climate change and has pulled the US out of the 2015 Paris agreement, Naturally, Democratic contenders for the presidential election in November 2020 are proclaiming their support for the cause.  Articles predict millions will be killed. But scientists object to fear mongering. "This is a classic case of a media article over-stating the conclusions and significance of a non-peer reviewed report that itself had over-stated (and indeed mis-represented) peer-reviewed science," said Richard Betts of the University of Exeter. Some have worked out different scenarios which will wipe out human beings, including declining brain function because of increasing carbon dioxide levels and the spread of extinct viruses, such as small pox, from thawing of frozen carcasses. Eating less meat and sugar will mean less land will be needed for cultivation which will be good for wildlife. "In developed countries, vegetarianism would bring all sorts of environmental and health benefits. But in developing countries there would be negative effects in terms of poverty," said Andrew Jarvis of Columbia's International Center for Tropical Agriculture. Animals and birds take advantage of food we waste but it is harmful for them. So, what is the solution? The clue lies in two catastrophic events. Even though it is still contaminated, the site of the Chernobyl nuclear accident is now a thriving wildlife refuge. Because humans have moved out. "Colonisation of the Americas at the end of the 15th Century killed so many people, it disturbed earth's climate." Because fast-growing trees and wild vegetation took over the huge swathe of abandoned farmland which led to a pull down of "enough carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere to eventually chill the planet". It is clear. Reduce the number of humans to save the planet. But, Thunberg's radical leftist handlers are never going to accept that. Are they?
