There is a lot of gold in India.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked the vice-chancellors of universities across India to encourage students to voluntarily take an online national-level exam on cow science (Gau Vigyan)," reported Business Today. "Called the Kamdhenu Gau Vigyan Prachar-Prasar Examination, there is no registration fee for this exam, which will be held on February 25." "Students from primary, secondary, and senior secondary schools and colleges can take this test which will be conducted by Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA)." 'Kamdhenu' is a mythical bovine goddess who provides anything that is asked of her. The number of cows in the world is over 1.4 billion, with Brazil having the highest number at 212 million and India the second highest at 189 million (18.9 crore), according to the Food an Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). "The global dairy market reached a value of US$718.9 billion in 2019." "Some of the common milch animals include cow, goat, buffalo, camel and sheep. The milk obtained from these animals can be consumed directly and processed into ice cream, cheese, butter, condensed milk and yogurt." "The global beef market size is expected to reach USD 383.5 billion by 2025, according to a new report by Grand View Research Inc., exhibiting a 3.1% CAGR (compound annual growth rate) during the forecast period." There is a whole list of diseases which can be passed from cows to humans by drinking raw milk. Pasteurized milk is sold in India. "Pasteurization is a process, named after Louis Pasteur, that applies heat to destroy pathogens in foods. For the dairy industry, the terms 'pasteurization', and 'pasteurized' and similar terms mean the process of heating every particle of milk and milk product, in properly designed and operated equipment." However, heating or cooking does not remove a prion protein causing Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy, commonly known as 'mad cow disease', from the meat of affected cows and causes variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (vCJD) in humans who eat such infected meat. "As of 2019, 232 people worldwide are known to have become sick with vCJD, and unfortunately they all have died," wrote the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). With such astronomical sums of money involved in the dairy and beef industries, and the possible transfer of potentially lethal diseases from cows to humans, it is only natural that the anatomy, physiology and diseases of cows have been studied in considerable detail. Like human medicine, Veterinary Science is a 5-year course taught in recognised colleges and offers Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.VSc) degree. But the UGC is not talking about any old cow. This exam is about the Indian cow, which passes gold in its urine, and its milk does not cause Type 1 Diabetes, autism or sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) as does the milk from Jersey cows. Meanwhile, millions of poor children are missing out on education because they do not possess computers and broadband at home. And online teaching platform Byju's has been valued at $12 billion. If only we knew how to distill gold out of urine.
