In California or India, fires are because of politicians.

California has been burning for weeks with fires breaking out at different parts of the state. Last year, there were a total of 8,527 fires in California which burned 1,893,913 acres and killed over 80 people. Near San Francisco Bay area 200,000 people were forced to flee from their homes and the local power company switched off electricity to about a million people in the north. "Smoke from the growing blazes begins carrying 100 miles west into Los Angeles and 100 miles south to San Diego, leading to hazardous air quality throughout Southern California," wrote Eliza Barclay. "Thousands of children and elderly are rushed to the hospital with asthma attacks and respiratory illness." Residents of Delhi are forced to breathe polluted air because of burning of stubble by farmers in Punjab while those of California suffer because of nature and climate change. Or, do they? "US President Donald Trump has threatened to cut federal funding for the wildfires sweeping California, in a Twitter spat with the state's governor." Trump blames Governor Gavin Newsom for not managing  forests better. "Every year, as the fire's (sic) rage & California burns, it is the same thing - and then he comes to the Federal Government for $$$ help. No more. Get your act together Governor," Trump wrote. To which Newsom replied, "You don't believe in climate change. You are excused from this conversation." Indeed, "Climate models show that as temperatures continue to rise, the atmosphere and land in some regions, like California's forests, will grow more arid. This in turn will make shrubs and trees drier and more flammable," wrote Barclay. All the more reason to take preventive action. The answer maybe simple as the Ronald Reagan Library showed. "A hungry herd of 500 goats has helped save the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library from the California wildfires. In May the library hired the goats to clear flammable shrubs surrounding the complex as a preventive measure." Goats could be let loose throughout the state and as they multiply goat meat can be exported to India earning precious dollars. Money should not be a problem. "AccuWeather now estimates the total damage and economic loss caused by California wildfires in 2019 will be $80 billion." wrote J Roach. Insurance companies face huge payouts as houses burn. Instead of using climate change as an excuse the governor can use money to clear shrubs and grasses to prevent fires. Power companies are switching off electricity to prevent sparks from starting fires. Much cheaper than upgrading their equipment. Despite high taxes California prefers to spend on illegal immigrants rather than on services for taxpayers, wrote VD Hanson. In a referendum, Californians actually approved a proposition to excuse crimes valued at less than $950, leading to an explosion of shoplifting and vagrancy. In Punjab free electricity to farmers encourages them to cultivate rice, which leads to stubble burning. This rice is then exported, meaning that India is exporting thousands of tons of freshwater to other nations. California or India, politicians are causing fire.
