Criticism can be dangerous.

Apparently the previous BSP government of UP was involved in the disappearance of Rs 400 billion. This is not being alleged by citizens or the civil society, abused as a " mob " by irate MPs, but by the present Chief Minister of UP, Akhilesh Yadav of SP. The numerous scams involved various schemes such as 1. Teachers Eligibility Test - Rs 1.2 billion, 2. Seeds scam - Rs 1.06 billion, 3. Toilet Construction Scam - Rs 29 billion ( did not realise that you can make money from shit ), 4. Ban Sagar Project - Rs 12.85 billion, 5. Noida Plot scam - Rs 50+ billion, 6. NHRM scam, in which at least 2 Chief Medical Officers were murdered - Rs 57 billion and 7. False payments for statues Rs 1+ billion. The previous Chief Minister, Ms Mayawati built statues to herself and her family with public money. Saddam Hussein did the same. US cables revealed by Wikileaks described Ms Mayawati as " a virtual paranoid dictator with food tasters and a security entourage to rival a head of state ". The cables added," When she needed new sandals, her private jet flew empty to Mumbai to retrieve her preferred brand." To this Ms Mayawati's response was that Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange was anti-dalit and should be sent to an asylum. Not only was there no shame or apology from Ms Mayawati there was no outrage from any politician of any party showing that every politician is engaged in looting the exchequer. That is why all politicians are united in their opposition to cartoons or any form of criticism. After all once people start you never know what secrets will start tumbling out and, the next thing you know, people will demand that the scoundrels be punished. A professor of Jadavpur University in Kolkata was roughed up by Trinamool Congress thugs and arrested for forwarding a cartoon of Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee. About 450 members of Trinamool students' wing spread over Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and even London have infiltrated social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Orkut and report directly to Trinamool Bhavan. This is exactly what the government of China does. We just had the sixtieth anniversary of the parliament and there was extensive verbiage about our glorious democracy which makes us superior to totalitarian states like China. We were told that parliament is the " light pillar " of democracy and that it is supreme. So supreme that you will get beaten up or even killed if you dare to point that 162 of the fellows are criminals and they were knowingly allowed to contest elections by the various parties. That makes every politician an accessory or an accomplice. Trying to take away our freedom of speech will not work because putrid garbage will stink even if beautifully gift-wrapped. India is a police state and is becoming more dangerous everyday. Sadly, Chen Guangchen can find asylum in the US but Indians will not be accepted. After all we are a " democracy " are we not?
