Seems like LTTE chief, Prabhakaran has been killed trying to fight his way out of army blockade rather than be caught and hanged. He was a terrorist and a diabetic. He should have poured oil all over the desert and set fire to it as US tanks and humvees drove in. He should have rigged one palace with RDX, invited the Americans in and blown himself up in one final, glorious fireworks display that would be talked about for centuries. Instead he hid in a hole in the ground like a rat, had his mouth examined like a dog, was made to wash his own clothes in prison, was tried and hanged like a common criminal and buried in an unmarked pauper's grave. An ignominious end to one who had been an absolute dictator for a generation. Its a mystery how a stupid coward could terrorise a people for a generation. Meanwhile his victor is gradually coming under the spotlight in the US as drip by drip more revelations emerge about torture and lies about WMDs. George W. is in no personal danger but his reputation could be drawn and quartered in the near future. Ignominy has no friends.
