A conspiracy in Bihar.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on an official visit to Russia and Austria from July 8 to 10, the Ministry of External Affairs said." "It will be Modi's first trip to Russia since Moscow launched its military offensive in Ukraine." HT. "The two countries will discuss the 'prospects for further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Indian relations, as well as relevant issues on the international and regional agenda,' the ministry said in a statement." TOI. Unfortunately, despite "traditionally friendly" relations, "The Russian foreign ministry and the state-backed Russian media houses Sputnik and RT (Russia Today) have in recent months been inconsistent with recognition of the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as part of India." The Print. That may be because, "The government...said that China continues to occupy approximately 38,000 square km of Indian territory in Ladakh for the last six decades." TOI. They have occupied some more recently. "For years, Lopzang Dadul herded his yaks, sheep and goats across the vast, vertiginous landscape near India's contested border with China, following the seasons to find grazing land. But now, Dadul says, shepherds are being barred by the Indian military from lands that for generations sustained Ladakh's nomadic way of life - a situation he and others say has worsened following a deadly 2020 border clash between Chinese and Indian soldiers." CNN. In June 2020, at least 20 Indian soldiers were killed in hand-to-hand combat after a sudden attack by barbaric Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley in Ladakh. BBC. The Indian soldiers killed at least 40 Chinese soldiers and the number could be even more. ET. But, having won the battle, our soldiers are now acting as guards for China. Tragic. Because of hundreds of sanctions levied by the US (state.gov), Russia is now completely dependent on China. "Moscow is in 'long-term' talks with Beijing, struggling to finalize agreements for securing loans in the Chinese yuan, according to Russia's finance minister." ET. While Mr Modi is far away from muggy Delhi, enjoying the cool weather of Russia and Austria, "Another instance of bridge collapse came to the fore in Bihar on Thursday (04 July), making it the 10th such incident to have been reported from the state in just over a fortnight, an official said." ET. "Days after alleging a conspiracy behind the recent bridge collapses in Bihar, Union Minister and former Chief Minister has now blamed the monsoon for back-to-back incidents in the state." Mint. Were the bridges built with materials from China?  Mr Manjhi is the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Mr Modi's cabinet. wikipedia. "RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, however, claimed that 12 bridges have collapsed in Bihar since June 18." TOI. Now, that is a conspiracy indeed. Better to be far away. In Moscow and Vienna.
